Introduction
The Islamic Foundation is a distinguished independent humanitarian organization, officially registered in Tanzania under the Trustership Ordinance (Cap. 375) in 1998 with registration number 1768, and subsequently certified with the Religious Society Certificate No. SA 22714 in 2022.
Dedicated to comprehensive humanitarian support and relief activities both nationally and internationally, the Foundation strategically focuses on critical infrastructure development. This includes establishing nursing schools, dispensaries, mosques, orphan centers, and support camps for new religious converts. Our humanitarian efforts extend to providing essential health centers, relief aid, and targeted support programs.
At the core of our mission, the Islamic Foundation is committed to serving millions of vulnerable individuals, transcending boundaries of race, political affiliation, gender, and belief. We steadfastly uphold the fundamental humanitarian principle of inclusive support, ensuring that no individual is left behind in their time of need.
Services Range to Community
The Islamic Foundation has four main categories of services, namely Educational, Health, Islamic Propagation, and Social Welfare Services.
Our Mission
Our Mission is to provide quality education, health care services and social welfare/humanitarian services to the needy, vulnerable and other affected individuals and to teach and deliver accurate, unalterable Islamic teachings.

Our Vision is to become a model Islamic institution in provision of quality social services in Tanzania and Africa at large for all races.
Our Services
Education
Schools (Forest Hill Secondary School; Dodoma Imaan English Medium School, Morogoro Imaan English Medium School and Nusra English Medium School), Religious Schools, and The Islamic Foundation Education Fund.
Health Care
Sarafeni Dispensary, Al-Jamiah Mother and Child Care Dispensary (to be upgraded to Health Centre), Specialized Medical Camps, Medical Caravan for Rural areas, etc..
Public Awareness Services
Mosques construction and management programs, Media and Broadcasting programs, Conferences and Seminars, etc
Social Welfare Services
Water Hygiene and Sanitation Program (WASH), Humanitarian and Relief Programs, Social Support services, Orphan Support Programs, Eid and Ramadan Iftaar programs, etc.

Introduction
After praising Allah and sending salutations to our beloved Prophet Muhammad, we would like to firstly thank Allah for giving us the ability and the power to be able to reach where we are today. Secondly, we would like to thank all the donors as well as our supporters who have supported and trusted us for all these years. Since we started this Foundation in 1999, our mission statement is clear and the same:
“We promised, we fulfilled our promise and Allah is our witness.”
Our Mission
We strive to keep our promises and build a relationship with people based on trust. That was the characteristic of our Prophet so much so that he was nicknamed “The Truthful, The Trustworthy.” Even non-Muslims trusted the Prophet. Only by truthfulness and trust, we will be successful because of our faith in Allah and the belief that He hears and witnesses every action.

The Islamic Foundation cannot be successful by itself; it was because of the Donors and Volunteers nationally and internationally, as a result, Muslims today in Tanzania are able to have a VOICE.
